So I felt a calling today to go and see about joining the bone marrow registry to maybe be able to save someone's life at some point. So I go to marrow.org to register and....apparently psoriasis prevents you from being on the registry. ...DAMMIT! Yet another thing taken away from this stupid disease...

I only found that out recently too - My sister had a bad car accident and didn't want "strangers blood" (her weird issue, not mine) and they said they couldn't use mine since I'd be diagnosed with PA by then and was taking biologics. She ended up getting synthetic blood plasma something or other. I wonder if it stops you being a organ donor? I don't recall being asked when I signed up here (in the states) when I moved 2 years ago.
