Maybe I just can't find it in the memories, or maybe I'm not looking hard enough, either way, I have a question.

I know I once found a tut to remove red-eye using something other than the "Remove Red Eye" tool on psp7. I believe it had to do with color balance, but I can't for the life of me find it.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

I'm going to suggest following a link. Generally our moderator doesn't like us to do that, but he allows the moderation team to do it now and then. (smile)

Go here and download the files. Put them into your Presets folder. Then open any image that has red eye (a copy, of course) and use your brush tool. Go to the Presets and select one of these downloaded presets and paint away the red eye.

It works quite well, actually!

You've actually inspired me to do a tutorial, which I'm currently working on...

There's a fairly simple process that works pretty well, actually. (Hopefully I'll finish this up soon...)

Like you, I don't really like the way the 'Remove Red Eye' tool works (even in the newer versions of the software).
