First of all, did you read this recent tutorial shared in the community? If not, be ready to do so now! The concept is very much the same...

PART ONE
In this case, you'll be creating an animation background and frame/border to go BEHIND your original/existing animation.
Open both PSP7 and AS3.
Open the animation in AS3.
Highlight the first frame of your animation. Right-click > Copy.
Go to PSP7. Right-click > Paste as New Image.
Look down in the right-hand bottom corner. You'll see that the current dimensions of your image are 128 x 160. So I suggest we make a background that's at least 170 x 170. (You didn't say what you want to use this for, which would help determine the size. Assuming you might want to end up with an icon of 100 x 100 pixels in size, I'm making the background perfectly square. However, you don't have to do so! It's time to put your rose animation into the new background you just created!
Click on the original rose animation to make it active.
Go to Edit > Select all. (This is a very important step!)
Go to the first frame (F:1) and 'grab' the rose.
Hint: When working with animations that have a transparent area, remember that you can't grab anything that's transparent! Put the Arrow Tool on any Opaque/Solid part of the animation.
Click and drag the rose into the first frame (F:1) of your new animation. Don't 'drop' the rose until you've got it where you want it. (Again, you can refer to this tutorial for help

I tried it but i must have done something wrong.I just used a regular picture( with no sec.layer).The first part was ok. I got the frame and the background i wanted.The problem i had was in Animation. When i put the rose in the new frame , the white around the rose covered the color of the new frame.I did not do this "Put the Arrow Tool on any Opaque/Solid part of the animation".What arrow tool. And is this last step what i did wrong??Thanks.
