Is there anyway to get an image to look like this on Paint Shop Pro 7?

This image doesn't actually have rounded edges - the corners have been cut off on an angle to give the impression of rounding insead. If you're working with an image of a similar size, all you need to do is use your eraser brush to cut a triangle out of each corner. Start at one corner and erase three pixels up and down, then cut out the remaining pixels until you've revealed an entire triangle. Once you're done, you can save it as a transparent gif.

Actually, Brian brn_gamble (who made the image you've shown) is one of the assistant moderators here -- so I can tell you he absolutely did that with Paint Shop Pro! (smile)

Clearly we need a tutorial about this, so I'll try to do one this weekend. How's that?

(Nag me if I get busy and forget, PLEASE!)

Actually, I think there are other members interested in how to do this -- so I'm glad to have finally finished this tutorial!

(About time, really...)

(smile)

The template method works especially well for icons, by the way! You might want to check it out. Unfortunately, I didn't include a rounded corner template here -- but they're not too difficult to locate if you hunt around. (smile)

Do let me know how the tutorial works out for you!
