Update on the Batty Front:

I called the Health Department as soon as they opened this morning. They swapped me over to someone who was knoweledgable about rabies and bats. Apparently my paranoia was very well founded. Not only does he think I need shots but he thinks my mom may need them too in spite of the fact she hasn't been in the room the bat

No-one got bit. But I had significant enough contact with one to get 7 shots 45 minutes ago, including an entire syringe of hemogloublin just over my eyebrow. The shit is still there, looking like I got punched, slowly saturating my muscle tissue.

I get to go back for 4 more shots through the next 28 days, but those are just vaccinations. Little needle in the arm.
