Battlefield 2 has a 400 meg patch. That means anyone with dial-up can go fuck themselves. Well, that's one way to keep game latency down, I suppose... but a 400-meg patch on a game that isn't a MMORPG? Seriously, if I was on dial-up I'd shit on this CD.

Man, not even World of Warcraft has a 400MB patch, that's absurd. To even get close to that you'd have to get the uber huge full patch from version 1.0 - 1.11, and even then it'd be like...330.

Yeah... and get this, I patch and it fucked up the registration code imprinted on it at installation. When I went to registration the reg process pulled it from the game and gave me a bunch of jibberish.
There seems to be no option to change the code inside the game once it's installed. No, you can't play with a bad reg code, either.
I don't think I've ever played a game EA published without wanting to rip out my hair and choke on it.

yes, but even against bots the game is fun as hell.
