Over the last week I've had the honor of jamming out with someone I've known and have worked with on and off for the last 5 years. He's better than me but has been playing longer and has the mind set and style of a lead guitarist so it's okay. I have equal lyric control and I'm working on some already. I chose not to use anything I've already written in the past for personal reasons- mostly because I'd rather have fun and uplift people than vocally cut my wrists for people to enjoy.

I appreciate the input and agree whole heartedly. I'm meeting a possible addition Friday and he'll be playing rythm- a little wary.
