Trying To Beat Things Up

It has been a few months since I have had that craving for some Super Smash Bros. Brawl action, so tonight I decided to give the disc a whirl and start the throw down on the COMS for some warm up routines. After 2 matches, I realized how annoying the AI actually is on the much higher settings. With 3 NPC characters on the screen in Brawl mode, each ( Read more... )

Guess who actually has Brawl, has a mate, and has a Wii with ... wait my wii can't connect to the new very good -.- damn.

Do you have any idea why the normal Wii Wlan Adapter just works when it wants to and not when I want it to work?!

If we can fix that we might try to play a game or 2. We didnt play in a while but once we could do some stuff there... and just hope that the way across the ocean doesnt mess up the ping too much. ;_;

I was lucky enough last night to get some actual good players to battle with! but unfortunately I don't know why your adapter clonks out on ya ^^; If it is any consolation, I randomly get dropped from the lobby still o_o Running a ethernet cable to the unit is just not practical as my router is up a flight of stairs and we don't plan on busting any holes in the walls ^^;

If you ever do get it working, I am always up for a smack down ^_^ Hopefully, not too much of a lagfest either!

This seems to play into part of the larger criticism of Nintendo, in that its online service is rather... horrible, Wii or otherwise. Honestly, as much as I like Nintendo, I can't stand their online services (*possibly* aside from Animal Crossing, which I've never played ._.). They really need to implement a proper chat program, friendslist, and a setup more akin to what Sony and Microsoft has done. I imagine you'd actually get some proper brawling accomplished if they had something decent!

Fuck yes more adorable, floating, leg-less cats with no joints! (on a serious note, I too would like to see more Tat around :3)

The way Nintendo setup their online services is like being the over protective parent o_o Oh, there isn't much to the online aspect of Animal Crossing ^_^; You can only visit residents who happen to be on your friend list (surprise, surprise!) There was one new feature about it that seemed exciting, till you learned the bitter truth. One of the shops is an auction house, where you can place your items up for bid and hopefully make some extra cash. This was touted as being online, which it is, sort of. The only problem is that only YOU can enter the auction house, not even with your friends at the same time. AND the only items that show up are from people on your friend list who put up items for sale! @_@ Why don't I just give them the item directly for free, since they are my friends!?

It would have been WAAAAY cooler if it downloaded items from various players around the globe wanting to sell things, so you had a variety of options. Gah, here I am running my mouth about AC ^^;;

Germ likes him some Tat(s)! ^w^

Germ likes TATS indeed :P... + if you ever played World of Warcraft you know how a good auctionhouse schould look like. :)

Also the Xbox 360 Online Menu is a very veeeery good one.
You should get one.... wait don't you have one?! .... and then we may even find a game we could play, and i already played Gears of War with someone from the US, so in some games the ping is okay and working. :)
