Change in Career

Question: Do I consider finding a better job which will be unfulfilling on the long run but will give me the stability to move with my life?
Or do I continue along with what I have, and try my hand whole-heartedly in the avenue of writing within the Video Games industry?

While it might suck your soul, I'm going to go with the first option. It will not make you happy, but that stability-- it's a stepping stone to doing whatever you want with your life.

I think that trying for the thing that makes you happy is always worth the risk. Now, maybe I am a hopeless romantic, but I definitely believe it is better to try for it.

And, if you're concerned about income while you're working at it - nothing says that any job you find has to be permanent.

Good luck.

Do take the high road! With an income secured you can take your time finding something you'll love to do.
