Skeptical

Unlike many I woke up this morning feeling a bit unsure about the future. I was glad that I shared in many of the historical moments of this campaign season, but much like yesterday morning many of my questions still haven't been answered. I don't think your "question all" approach is unpatriotic. Quite the contrary; I think it shows a certain amount of patriotism, in that you care enough about this country to raise these questions. I still have unanswered concerns myself, but am willing to give Obama a chance before worrying too much. If anything, I think "we the people" have learned not to be so automatically trusting & complacent of any Presidential administration. A little bit of cynicism can be a healthy thing. That may be the biggest lesson from the GWB legacy.

I too am skeptical, but I will admit that I haven't followed the elections terribly closely nor do I know either ex-candidate's stands in detail - only in general terms.

What I do know is that it has been said over and over again that Obama is a very eloquent, skilled speaker. It is a great skill to have in a president and I'm glad for that. But can he actually do what he says he can, and will he do this country good? Speaking's great, but it takes a hell of a lot more than that to run a country.
