I came home yesterday to find Vince in his bathroom with my sweater and pants in his sink and a bottle of Spray n Wash or shout or something. I really didn't care uch about the clothes. they were new, but not more than 40 bucks total, and didn't seem worth the effort really. But I thought it was incredibly sweet that he did that. Try hairspray, something cheap like Aquanet. Saturate the ink stains, really get them wet, and scrub it in and let it sit a few minutes. Then put on Spray and Wash and scrub that in. Add more hair spray, and wash in cold water. You can also try fels naptha soap with the hairspray - I've had good luck with that, too. It's a bar soap sold near the laundry soap.
Repeat until the ink comes out - DO NOT DRY IT IN THE DRYER until the stains come out. The heat will set the stains and they'll never come out.

I've put more pens through the wash than anyone I know. My ex-husband would leave pens in his pockets all the time, and I'd check the pockets, but I think they'd fallen out and were tangled up in something else.
