Today was pretty uneventful. I went shopping for food. I was lazy. I was lazy some more. Tomorrow is the day that is going to suck... In the morning I go in to have some sadistic doctor cut me open with a scalpel. I have been dreading this for three weeks. I have to have a mole cut out of my abdomen and checked for cancer... I've done the dig out a divot ON MY NOSE! Came back, "precancerous," which is the catch all phrase that sounds better than shrugging their shoulders. No scar. Had many moles removed in the past. Took The Child to get moles removed (have you noticed that kids these days have a LOT more moles than normal? 3 or 4 more generations and everyone will be all brown with moles). The shots they give you to numb it hurt. Won't lie to you. And don't look when the doc shows you the prize once he cuts it off of you. Some of them are so proud. What looks like a regular mole on your body sure become a gross chunk of bleeding meat with hairs still in it on the edge of a scalpel.
