My second post after a loong time.. ^_^
I thought I was immune to Hallyu, but I was wrong and I like it! kekeke...
I'm loving Kpop at the moment alongside with my Jpop. I stumbled upon Kpop accidentally because of my love for Arashi. I knew that Arashi was on the Jpop vs Kpop battle on Channel V about a couple of months back, naturally as an Arashi fan I wanted to support the Stormy boys (I wasn't able to vote though, since the registration period was over when I found out about it), somewhere along the process, I got curious with their competition. And that was when it all started, when I looked up the 13-member band that Arashi was competing against, Super Junior. In the beginning, I was just reading about them and then I found myself looking up their songs, MV's and TV shows. I find their dorkiness and their friendship endearing, almost if not similar to Arashi's bond. SuJu was the group who opened up the gates of Kpop for me and I'm glad that I explored it. Asian music is definitely a breathe of fresh air for me, in this whitewashed country of ours, that is so biased to Western music.
