Looking to buy
I hate my car.
It used to be so nice to drive, with beautiful cold air conditioning and all. Then we traded in the old family car and bought a new one, a 4wd that I swore I would learn how to drive. The old car was really long, and while I could drive it perfectly fine, parking was a major problem. So I've been taking out the new car pretty frequently so I can practice parking - and I'm bloody good at it now, just cruise right on in between two cars, perfectly straight.
The problem is, I've been driving that car so much that when I drive my car I notice a big difference. For instance, my air conditioning isn't that great anymore. In fact, it's rather lame. It gets so hot inside and because my windows aren't tinted (like the 4wd) I really feel the heat. I'm supposed to have power steering but it hasn't worked for ages. I thought it still worked but just at a lesser capacity, but no, it's definitely buggered. My arms are actually sore from driving it today. In the 4wd I can basically steer with my pinky fingers because the power steering actually works.
Then there's the gear box in my car. It sticks on all the gears, particularly second, which kills my wrist. My wrist is already damaged enough, I don't need to be making it worse. There's also the issue of the tiny motor. If I turn the air conditioning on, it drains all the power and I have to flatten the accelerator in order to keep momentum. If there's a passenger in the car, it drains it even more. Going up hills is impossible.
So I'm going to start checking out other cars, and maybe consider getting a new one.
