Back in the states, back at work, back to LJ (so far so good?). Lesson learned: when confronted with the beast that is DST conversion, try to schedule it so that you are way outside of the regular time zone when it hits - its not such a big deal to readjust your thinking to 13 hours behind rather than 14...too bad A-chan is a bit too young to grasp

Good call. I did have that in mind, even though the music inhabits a completely different realm. I was totally into the mini-LP look, like those little bubble gum records you could buy in the candy store with the fake sleeves.

I've made it through track 3 so far, and i really like it! Track 2 stuck out in my head as a nice bit of Harmonia-tinged goodness but its been good listening that i cut short only because i felt i needed to get up to date on the news - it was great for a sleep-deprived pre-dawn monday drive...

Hey, we just got your postcard today, too! I was very touched that you thought to send us one, and at the end of a somewhat crappy day I actually got a bit misty over it.

But I'm over it now and manly as men can be.

i'm glad it made it through okay! hopefully my bad handwriting was legible - my mother-in-law ran into the post office to mail them off, and she came back telling us that she really impressed herself with the stamps she bought (which i didn't see)...anyway, back to being MEN!
