Its not often that I sit down and think about me having children, but I do.  I just read an article by a woman that has the same thing I do, PCOS.  In this article she talks about her struggles to be diagnosed but the bigger struggles in trying to conceive a child.  More than 3 yrs of trying and she still has not been able to become pregnant.  And ( Read more... )

I never realized you could potentially have difficulty conceiving...I'm sorry. I never really want to actually go through childbirth so I will probably never fully understand what you feel but I thought I would extend my comments and say that I hope you don't have to go through that.

Thanks you, I hope so too! I know there are plenty of people that don't want to experience that, for me its almost like I would have more of a connection to my child, not that I wouldnt if I adopted but its different ya know. But yeah PCOS means that there could potentially be cysts growing in place of eggs and so instead of ovulating once a month like your supposed to you just dont. It may happen one month and not for the next year. But everybody is different so we will see.
