In some small way, Sam felt kind of bad about being left behind while everyone went off to find the crazy psycho who'd hurt Chris. But, he couldn't deny that when it came down to it, the rest of their friends were a lot more powerful than he was. So, he'd agreed to stay behind and keep an eye on Chris, and hoped that the group wouldn't be gone for long.
