Sometimes our protectiveness kicks in when the person is not only a child, but a pet or parent. Granted, waiting for karma does suck ass, but if your friend didn't do anything, then karma will hit him good and the muggers horribly. That is something we all need to remember. I think karma laughs at those who are malicious and is the mob of the universals, so to say. Karma will bust the knee caps of those guys!
