and i must say that i greatly admire the dj for that event, digging up stuff from the 70s and 80s that no one has really heard of and making a completely malleable, funky breakbeat groove out of it. the songs from this video have been stuck in my head for the past week and in that time i've tried to buy pigbag's debut album but can't find it anywhere - so i imported it from the uk, along with mylo's debut. also i've downloaded about a gig of other random jazz-fusion-funk-revival bands from the 80s and will have to filter through it all at some stage. jazz fusion for the WIN!~
