Almost done! I've started doing annotated chapters of the sequel, so I can amass a backlog of posts, to be more efficient about it this time around. After this there's just Chapter 32 and the Epilogue!

It didn't occur to me, though, that one reason Dumbledore might have for not liking dementors was his father having been in Azkaban. I thought her Dumbledore backstory was brilliant, and absolutely did not see it coming.

I can see my fifteen year old self (or however old I would've been - maybe closer to seventeen?) leaving you such a review. *Sheepish grin* (I don't know whether I did.) But I am surprised Peter never used his form to fool anyone else.

Ha! Yeah, my reviews went from people complaining that it was too unlikely that Dudley would suddenly befriend Harry to people liking it to people crying over him. I really jerked people around on that. ;)

We really don't hear about Peter ever using his Animagus form later in the series, do we? It's almost like she forgot he could turn into a rat. Of course, with a silver paw, anyone like Harry and the folks in his inner circle would immediately smell, um a rat, if they saw that, but others might not have, especially if he used his rat form to stay out of sight and learn about things he shouldn't know, to tell Voldemort.
