Thats a really good definition....of course now that means that it going to be printed on the back of shirts and sold to scene kids worldwide.

No. Actually being articulate about the origins and inclusive titles of one's subculture is generally frowned upon.

But then again, frowning upon and being frowned upon by other scene kids is the whole point of being scene, yes?

BTW speaking of "social web clients" the face book is on the front page of the Orlando Sentinel today. Shame shame shame. That shit belongs in Life and Times section. This is why Americans vote for politicians they know nothing about.

AHAHAHAHA!

Erm, I'm on face book...I didn't realize it was elite! I mean, hell, they let me join it. But then, I'm in my own bubble most of the time. Occassionally I want to be a scenester, but then I remember that I'd look ridiculous with huge sunglasses. And I don't get Bright Eyes. Therefore I am automatically out.

It's all good. We all do/say/subscribe to something stereotypical of something we identify as or with.

However, upon searching the site, I got to a page that said:

"Popular Consumption" should be the title of my auto-biography.

that's the point of wearing huge sunglasses...you're supposed to look ridiculous. plus they are great for when you're hungover and need as much light kept out of your eyes as possible. i (heart) them personally. :)
