I'm sure many of you have seen the advertisements for the new NBC show "The Book Of Daniel." There has been much hew and cry over this show which parodies an Episcopalian priest and his dysfunctional family and his moments spent talking to "Jesus ( Read more... )

Hrm... I wanted to see the show b/c I love the premise. I love the idea of ordinary people finding God and finally having people realize that Christians aren't perfect...that we are all struggling with issues and we find faith in the most obscure things and places. I was hoping it would be a semi Joan of Arcadia type of thing... but I guess not. :(

Yeah, I was prepared to like the show. Even if it hadn't been about a priest, I still wouldn't watch it. The show is just not entertaining. It was just ridiculous.

Yeah, I have heard of this show - my pastor passed around an article about it in church on Wed. night. I was horrified at what I had read about this show, even though I have never seen it.

There was a number on the article where we could call the TV channel and ask them not to air this show on their station. I'm all for that, I wish I still had the phone number with me - I would post it everywhere.

Completely horrible, and this is the corrupt society we live in. Christianity is being attacked and mocked almost everywhere it seems these days.
