"Yes, it was one of 6's traps! I'm not kinky enough to do this voluntarily!" Callisto groaned, remembering who had he spare keys and why. "Charlie's got them."

"Uh, the former occupant believed in booby traps as a way of life," Parker told Blair absently. "Kawalsky? Good. Sandberg, go find the guy, will you? He's in room 223. Charlie Kawalsky. There's now way we can pick all these before she passes out."

No, she was not looking for an excuse to contact Constable Fraser. She was trying to help a friend.
