Yeah, you got it. Haven't heard from me in ages and now I'm writing 'cause I'm pissed at the world. When did it become okay to be mediocre at your job and STILL get mad at others? When did it become MY JOB to fix all the problems around here and then fix them at another retail place 'cause THEIR help is incompetent too? God...I'm just fuming

Work blows, but yes I am proud of a lot of it that I do. I won't cop to stupidity, but I must confess to the occasional bout of laziness. In the meantime, just try to take pride in being more competent and capable than so many of the other people you encounter. Ultimately, it will mean you go farther. Let's face it, even in a best case scenario work is work. We do it because we have to, not because it's a barrel of laughs. The important thing to remember is that it's only one part of your life.

You are a fabulously sexy, talented, smart, funny, friendly individual with a boatload of good friends and supporters (and lusty admirers), and none of the idiots you encounter in the workplace can take that away from you.

Vent on, my friend. I do take pride in my dayjob work. I don't think I work hard enough, but I try to do a good and thorough job and not make mistakes or anything. I'm sorry you're having a rotten. Maybe I'll come visit you at work this weekend if that would give you a cheer. XXOO

I'm so sorry! I forgot that we were going to my sisters for Chinese New Years and THEN I got a call from my boss saying my 85 year old was in the hospital sooooooo...after working 7 days in a row and sooo needing Monday off I had to go into work and then put in 2 more days. So I went home physically and mentally exhausted and depressed. Put in my 9 days only to come in today and my asst. (who just quit on me, long story) had the nerve to treat me like crap and because i'm so emotionally bruised right now felt horrible and miserable. Now I just hate her :) How's that for an excuse???? I'm so sorry my dear. Can I reschedule for THIS sunday? I do so miss you and your smile!
