Random Ramblings

Life has been pretty good recently. Despite some minor snags here and there, overall, I'm feeling quite positive the last few days. I'll have at least one time a day where I get "bat-shit" angry and want to kill someone... but that usually passes pretty quick (I'll vent and be done with it... why give the bastards the satisfaction ( Read more... )

Oh yeah, OS and I also hooked up with the local Star Wars crowd this past Sunday evening. It's basically a few of us who get together and discuss Star Wars related topics. It was a fun couple of hours.

Glad to hear you are sleeping better. Fall and winter usually konk me out too, but the dryness in our apartment is a bit ridiculous. We are looking into a big-ass humidifier.

Happy birthday! I'm sorry we couldn't get together last night, just feeling really poopy, and even skipped out of clinical for tonight. I'm looking forward to stealing your wife for the weekend for our big scrapbooking event...perhaps you and MV can get together then, although I have no idea what his schedule looks like...he'll have the car, so all is good.

Prayers for your family in this hard time. Those kind of events tend to bleed out to everyone in the social circle, so I'm sure you're feeling some of the backlash associated with that kind of grief. Your sister is a lucky woman to have such a supportive brother :)

Thanks for the b-day wishes. I hope your feeling better, OS is looking forward to this geekend as well. I plan to post about things I may do over the geekend tomorrow (in all their cheezy glory).

As for my sisters friends situation... thanks for the concern.

Happy late birthday!!

Really... do we need an excuse to say happy birthday?? (other than a birthday, obviously) Because to me, Happy Birthday means "Congrats on making it through another year of life and I'm glad that you were born!" So HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! from the bottom of my heart. :)

Thanks for the b-day wishes >grins<

I usually thank my mom for putting up with me around my b-day (both that she carried me for 9 months and for all the years after that). I'm just not into the whole "gift and party" thing... I'm actually most appreciative of people just saying "happy b-day" like you and PW have. That means more to me than any material gift or party ever could.

Anywho, thanks again... >smiles
