even when you saw the pictures!!! I can't get the images out of my head.
but, I guess I can agree that it was more leaning towards cool/cute until they actually bit it off.
someone is too into lord of the rings. (gollum -> frodo... another Elijah Wood thing! Good gravey!)
they bit and the joint popped... aaaaaaah.

yeah, even with the pictures I thought it was still romatic in an unconvential/weird way. The actual biting made it really intimate, albeit disgusting. I couldn't bite off a finger to save my life, but talk about commitment.

also, i didn't understand the lord of the rings comment.

talk about commitment is right! and how they will bite off more and more for each aniversary. man. I guess I see that it is romantic, but i can't get over the 'icky' factor.
i would never be able to do it either. ever. and all they did first was to soak it in ice. pain tollerance to the max! sounds like it didn't even hurt her, but the guy kept wincing.

In the return of the king, when they finally get to mount doom, frodo puts on the ring and gollum lunges for him and bites off his finger before falling into the lava. also, elijah wood (aka frodo) in Sin City, ate people, including the police girl's fingers (and he made her watch him do so.)
... yes. :/
