SHOPPING ONLINE = A PAIN IN MY BALLS.

According to FedEx, my package was delivered an hour ago. Where is it, you ask? Oh ho, not at my front door, as the specific notation might lead one to believe!

Et cetera. )

That's a gorgeous ring - I hope FedEx managed to pull their head out and get it to you. (They lost a package to me recently as well! I finally got it but a week after I was supposed to!)

I've often wondered if doctors get some sort of cut on hocking off drugs. Wouldn't surprise me.

FedEx is on my naughty list this year. I think I will deliver their xmas coal by HEAVING IT AT THEIR CATTY, LYING EMPLOYEES. >.> Care to help me fling?

I would think so, considering she had a little pink pad of pre-printed prescriptions forms. Anything to make their product the one doctors shove down the throats of consumers! She also seemed down on generic drugs. She has to be getting a cut.

I saw that! wtf, SP? >:o! I only go on there to spin my prize wheel anymore, since keeping track of food is rather pointless and would probably take me all damned day now, with the way I fiend for snacks constantly. :))

Hahaa - sure! In fact I will flip off the Fed Ex guy I always see in my neighborhood in your honor. Dude delivers packages to everyone else but ME! :/

Any doctor who doesn't believe in generic drugs is getting a cut. Gotta be - I mean it makes no difference if it's generic or not.

I got so lazy with SP - I finally decided to start counting my food again and go back to the board and it was gone. WTF, indeed!

All right, now the link from Overstock takes me to a page that says there is more than one order for that number, and has an entirely new, additional tracking page that says there was a "delivery exception" at 8:03pm last night and that it's on the truck and should have been delivered today. >.> *still waiting*

Well, the brand new drugs she wants me on don't even come in generic yet; it will be years before the generic version is available. -.-

Less guilt over neglecting it if it's gone, though. >:-"

You know, I was just wondering what you were up to, since I hadn't heard from you in a while. :D

That tanzanite and diamond ring is really pretty. I have one that's sort of similar that I got from my mom for my birthday a couple years ago, although it has an oval stone in the middle with a smaller diamond on each side. Actually, it looks very close to this. I was able to get it by reminding my mom that I hadn't made her purchase a class ring for me for high school *or* college, so I was due an expensive jewelry purchase. :-P

As for the constant munchies, have you tried things like yogurt or cheese? Or maybe sugar-free chocolate pudding? I also really like the Special K Snack protein bars (in the diet aisle), as they're really tasty and usually fill me up. I have a hard time controlling the munchies at times, too (which is why I could stand to lose some weight), but have really found these to work well.

*hug*

Every time I think about updating, the laziness convinces me that it would be too much effort. :)) I can't even force my tired ass to comment on anyone else's LJ most of the time. :/

That one is cute! I think the trillian cut looks amazing on tanzanite (and most stones, really). A girl can never have too much jewelry, after all. ;;)

Activia, a sugar-free pudding cup and string cheese are already components in my lunch every day. :)) I've been chowing down on the bag of almonds I bought from the guy with the goodies cart who comes to out building every so often, but there isn't a lot of food I can really eat while I'm on display at work, helping customers. And since I am also the first one in line to answer the phone every time some old windbag wants to haggle over CD rates, I can't have stuff in my mouth all the time. It's getting me srsly pissed off, and it hasn't even been two full weeks. >:/

:x

I've been doing the yogurt/pudding thing in my lunch, too, although I'm all out of yogurt so won't be able to take that today. I eat a Lean Cuisine for lunch usually (although today I'm having Steak n' Shake chili), have the pudding and yogurt, and drink a bottle of water.

Technically I'm not supposed to eat in the library, although I do anyway. :)) But almonds are a good choice, too, because they're actually pretty good for you. I'll have to think of some other things you can take and sneak at work. Hmm.

I was fine bringing a South Beach meal along with the other things for lunch, but now I would scarf that down in two seconds flat and be fiending for more. 8-X Today we ordered in and had subs. :">

I foresee more nuts in my future. Maybe less crunchy ones. *subtle on the phone* :))

you know, when i checked up on my most recent book purchase from amazon on sunday evening, it said it had been delivered somewhere in michigan, but i didn't quite believe that. they actually delivered the book the next day, so i have no idea why the tracking system told me it had been sent to michigan.

my $29 cashmere sweater purchase last friday clearly pales in comparison to your diamonds :P

This one is very specific, and the customer service pplz confirmed the exact address and everything. The thing on the tracking page has my city, too, so :/ I hope it just shows up on its own, because I don't want to deal with the hassle of proving I never got it. Even if Overstock.com offered to send another one, they are out of every size but one (which isn't the size I would need, of course -.-).

Heh, this last week has been all about things that aren't clothes, for a change! :)) Although $29 cashmere intrigues me . . . tell me more. >:D

oh well, that sucks, then. of course it would happen when you're ordering something really expensive and not a random little thing. i really hope that you get the package without too much of a hassle!

haha, it was old navy's instore deal on friday. they had all their cashmere sweaters at 50% off, so i bought one :D

I wish I knew how to go about explaining this if and when I have to plead my case to Overstock >.> b/c if it was me, I would be like whatever, you totes got the box the FedEx confirmation says so >:o but I doubt their employees can outright accuse someone of lying, soooo >.> *frets*

Oh yeah, I think I saw that advertised :-? Fluffeh and I combined an order because I had $40 worth of bucks back coupons I had to use before the end of December, or else they would expire. So I got a buttload of gloves/hats/scarves and a few random things, and Fluffeh got a few things too :D :"> Those coupon code things are such sweet poison. :))

Last Christmas, they apparently tried to deliver a parcel from overseas to me on a day that i KNEW i was at home, and no one ever came to the door. So they left a card in the box and I called them up and asked when it could be delivered, and they told me a day, so I stayed home from work, AND THEY DIDNT SHOW UP! So I called them, pretty pissed off, and they said whoops, we forgot, can you be home tomorrow instead? i said NO, i've already had to take a personal day BEFORE CHRISTMAS for you people and you didnt show, so now i want you to deliver it to my workplace. They said sure - as soon as the sender pays us another $25, we can do that for you ( ... )

o_O That sounds almost exactly like what Apple/some-delivery-carrier-I-don't-remember-which did to me a couple years ago, minus the overseas part. They actually ended up sending the package back to Apple's headquarters or whatever, because no one could put their finger on where the hell the package WAS after they allegedly tried to deliver it several days in a row.

Predictably, the entire experience has put me off Apple products permanently, because god forbid you actually need some sort of customer assistance after paying hundreds of dollars for a tiny piece of crap that will be obsolete three weeks after buying it. :| :| Now I am curious to find my ranting entry about it to see if that was also the brilliance of FuckEx. :-?

Did you ever get your package, after all that aggravation? Or did it cost someone the $25 after all? *_*
