Amen to getting internships NO thanks to UM connections. I got a position as production manager for a theatre in DC after I myself did tons of searching... I have a better job (in terms of pay, experience, and actual work I will be doing) than I would have had I listened to what everyone had told me. YAY! I hope you're having fun!
