Well hello there.

A brief update of what I've been up to:

I suck at going to the gym now.  I still go on Monday nights to swim, even though it is freaking freezing.  Getting up in the morning to go is another story.  I figure, who cares... it's the middle of winter... I'll worry about my thighs when it gets warmer.

My ability to write seems to have diminished lately.

Maybe it's because I have read more professional blogs and realized that my "blogs" are really not something that many (or any) people would read.

 So I, by no direct monetary expenditure of my own, am getting an iPod.

I have resisted this trendy possession for years now.  Since I have started going to the gym, however, I've really needed something to shove in my ears to drown out the cheesy gym-tunes they play there.  I had enough "rewards points" on my Amex card, so viola.

Lately I've been so hateful and negative.

Just today I've had several hate-filled moments.

I hated that guy who was cruising along in the passing lane at 65 mph, forcing me to pass him on the right.

I hated that girl who got the job  instead of me because she's "more experienced".
