I heard on the news this morning that there are wildfires in six of the seven Bay Area counties in Florida. Pinellas, which is where I live, is the exception. We had a very dry winter this year. Our rainfall is wayyyy down. There is a lot of scrubland in Florida, believe it or not. And anytime you have dry conditions in the lightning capital of the world, wildfires are a concern.
I've lived here almost 23 years, and I think this is the worst fire season I've ever seen.
