So Monday I freshened the blue in the front part of my hair and then added purple to the back ( Read more... )

Well, can you put it up and keep the color?

It's pretty bright... maybe if I arranged the purple around it...

Well, large hats seem to be all the rage right now. I dyed some of my hair red once and I was able to hide it by either tucking it under the non-dyed parts or pulling it into a bun. I don't know how well that would work for you though since the dye is in the front. Try a purifying shampoo, that might strip some of it out, maybe make it a little lighter.

It's still rather fresh, and umm... blue. I'm not sure how to get past the... blueness of it.

Wow, that's a really pretty blue. I think perhaps a hat or a 'doo-rag' might be the way to go.

Hmm... I have some hats, I think... although they're mostly for keeping warm... hahaha. I wonder if I could get away with a furry Draco hat :)

Depending on how badly you want the job, I'd just do the hair up in a killer elegant 'do (even just a sleek bun) and go as is. You're totally ballsy enough to pull it off. If they simply can't deal with pretty colors on a second interview, screw 'em. If you don't think that would go over and really want the job, there are dye strippers available (check Sally's), though they might fry things a bit.

See, I'm not sure how much I want the job or how much they're jerking me off with this interview, that's kind of my quandary. I hate to ruin my hair over... well... confused people. Maybe a bun is the way to go. If I can shift the purple over it... although... hahaha the blue is pretty... blue. Although it's for a pool company. Maybe I'm just really into chlorine? ;)

If you're not sure of your intentions or theirs, I'd say go for the colors in a tidy 'do. Is the whole front blue, or just the top? If it's just the top, I'd just try to comb it into as narrow a top-stripe as possible and put the bun as high on the crown as possible to maximize purple coverage.

I want blue and purple hair! I should ask my group lead what he thinks. This group might be laid back/isolated enough, and I won't have any public interaction gigs anytime soon, AFAIK.

Hehe blue and purple hair is fun! I just did it, too :( I don't want it to go away already! It's mostly the front of my hair, but pulled back I don't know how noticable it really is. It just sort of looks... darkish. Thanks! ;)
