The speculation I've read from Londoners is that the 'power surge' stuff was a pre-arranged fake-out to facilitate rapid evacuation without panic.

Smart lads, those Brits.

Oddly, I think that whole thing made me wonder where you were and what you were up to ;)

I can see that, though. I started thinking about it later and how a good portion of Houston would roll their eyes at "thunderstorm warnings."

"Oh? Hurricane? *sighs* I guess the picnic is cancelled."

Although the notion of, "What? You don't want to get blown up? What are you, a girl?" makes me giggle.

That's really scary when you know that it could've been you. I'm glad you weren't there anymore!

Congrats on getting married again! And to a wonderful guy that you're passionate about. That was another thing that made me think of you, watching Legend and that dress.

Life's... interesting. There's the good and the bad, lot of death lately. But also a new job and getting more into writing and away from the photography again. I go in and out with photography. I suppose to an extent I do with writing as well. But for the most part, I guess not much has changed. Still with Ryan :)
