Well, owing to the fact that my second logo comp wasn't to the CEO's liking on the second day, I was fired. The irony of it is that they hadn't gotten the software I needed in yet, so I'd taken it upon myself to bring in my own copies so I would be able to do my job

I'm not even sure what to say to them, you know? I barely know what went wrong beyond him not liking my logo. Another designer friend theorized that maybe he just wanted a cheap logo and that it's less expensive to hire a designer for a couple of days than to pay a freelance rate. I'm not even sure what to say about that. Maybe I should've deleted the files?

I used to have the print out on
wrongful firing. I don't know
where it is but I am pretty
sure that you would be on the
winning side. It really isn't
ok to hire someone and have them
using their own stuff and then
fire them without a reason. I
probably would have deleted them
but hey, if they use them you could
sue. :/ Maybe your other friend is
right. If that is the case, then they
will probably just end up paying
more in the long run for multiple
hires and all the stupid hiring
paperwork. It is good though that
you won't be working for such an ass!
