I go in cycles too with my hobby which is probably why I couldn't work as a photographer or jeweler since I worry I might get burnt out.

I guess writing is a rather quiet hobby, all things considered. I'm generally pretty reachable by YIM as psychocatblah, though ;)
I sort of burnt myself out on graphics, but I still do the work. But I don't do it for fun so much anymore now that it's a career. It's sad, isn't it?

Or at least that's for nano. I sitll have the final scene to add and then I need to add some scenes that I sort of sped through trying to make it to 50k
I actually thought then that I had miles to go before I got there, but um... evidently not. I'm a little worried I kind of rushed it, though because I was like, "OMG YAYE END!"
Although right now it's ~55k which, after I take out all of my hesitation words and bloaty adverbs (that I let myself go nuts with since I was aiming at a goal) it might end up about that length :)

Not that there aren't times where those words indicate something particular to a sentence, I tend to get carried away and it makes my prose sound all hesitatey. Like I'm afraid to commit to an action.

Yeah, they have it, I guess. I could try buying it, I think I don't know. They were so weird with wanting my utility bill to prove I was me? But my name isn't on the utility bill and we'd faxed my driver's license twice and... bleh. Enough was enough, man.
