Still, ending up with Mehldau seems like a bit of a downer. Not my favourite pianist - by a long way!

The Monk/Trane set was a new acquisition and we were really enjoying it so just played the whole thing. As for Mehldau, well to be honest it was background to the chat by then so anything more "challenging" would probably have been wasted.
