You may remember that the flat opposite ours was recently renovated. It was rented out but owned (technically still is, as I don't think it's officially sold yet) by a senior person in EBS - a prominent building company in Glasgow, and he was doing the renovations using his own staff during downtime. They hated doing it so did it in as slap dash

I can't believe he had the nerve to do the work without being awarded the contract! Surely no one is under any obligation to pay for it? I certainly wouldn't, and I can't imagine he's got a leg to stand on legally.
