F**k That S**t

After hearing Kloq might be supporting, and after hearing the new album (which I've been playing on repeat all week), I decided to give Combichrist a second chance live. They were pretty boring when I saw them in America, and towards the end of their set it became a bit annoying and embarrassing. They brought nothing new to their material, and Andy ( Read more... )

Ooh, thanks for the headsup on the *cough* unannounced gig. :)

As for SE and Modulate...this sounds interesting...

That was just a reference to Dark City.. which I just cant afford to go to, but with *cough* playing I'm slightly less bitter about that! I'm sure I'll catch Modulate somewhere else.

"Im dreading though that combichrist are going to be announced for infest"

Yeah me too.. I'm not going if they are. There's no one really on the lineup so far that's compelling me to go. ESA sound interesting but I'm sure I'd catch em somewhere else. Soman and Painbastard are alright.. but I only really like Soman's remixes of other bands. I've never really gotten into Portion Control either.. gave em loads of chances but I don't like the vocals.

I really enjoyed infest though last year. I hope they announce someone good. Even if its just someone I've seen before like Skinny Puppy or something, that'd be enough to make me go!

apparenly they've said they're doing no festivals this year, so its unlikely they'll be on the infest bill

Ah that's good. It would be a little redundant having already played here this year!

*Fingers crossed for Rabia Sorda being announced*

Suicide Commando, Front242 or Imperative Reaction would be nice too!

I too had heard murmuring about *cough*, glad to see it's becoming more solid.

Still coming to Wendy House this Saturday? And if you want to catch Modulate do you fancy joining us for the Manchester gig on Sunday?

Yeah we're definitely up for Wendy House =) Do we head to Adams night before hand?

I'm not sure if I can manage Manchester on Sunday unfortunately. I have an early start on Monday and I'm in the micro labs till 5 so I'd need a clear head =/ Plus we're at Gloominati on Thursday, a house party on Friday, WendyHouse on Saturday.. I think we'll be exhausted =(

The coach is going straight there, but the Subculture's quite close by, and I'll guide anyone who wants to go.

So I'll see you on Thursday, and tomorrow if you're there.. (Nelson)

I'm in uni late on Tuesdays at the moment annoyingly, so I'm unlikely to be out tomorrow. See you on Thursday though =)
