*sheepishly*

I've been "exhorted" by sikolto to post an entry, since I guess it's been...15 weeks?...since I posted last. *blush*

Really, really, really, really long...but interesting, I think )

Sounds like life is going well except for massively incompetent CVS. Ugh!

Glad the baby was born safely and that you had a good trip!

Lol. Actually, it wasn't CVS that was the problem. It was the insurance company that I've had so much trouble with for so long. And I'm stuck with them, I found out. (Read my reply to Robert, below.)

I keep checking to see if you have deleted your journal ;) Just kidding, I know you wouldn't leave without saying goodbye. Isn't it neat being the first one to see the baby? I got to take Cassie out of the doctors hands, and it's an experience I wouldn't trade for anything.

The medical field sounds like it's treating you pretty incompetently to me. I'm so blessed to have my disability through the state. No case managers to deal with. I handle all the appointments with my therapist and every 3 months with my doctor. Every other week with my therapist.

Drop by and say hello more often. We miss you :)

It's not the medical field that I have the problem with. It's the same stupid insurance company that gave me all the trouble when I tried to appeal with my Effexor. The problem is, I had my insurance through the state, too. But after being on SSDI for two years, they automatically put you on Medicare. You have no choice in the matter. I still have AHCCCS as my secondary insurance, but for meds, I have to go through Medicare. I was going to try to change my medicare part D plan, but after researching all the different plans, I realized that only the one I have now and one other one, carry the features that Medicare approves for my particular situation. The other plan is even worse, so I'm stuck. Actually, I really do like having a case manager. There's things she helps me with that I don't feel really capable of handling on my own, or don't have the knowledge. Up till recently, she's been really helpful, but I think she's getting too big of a caseload. I don't think it's really her fault ( ... )
