Don has finally swallowed his pride and accepted the fact that he has mental problems,and needs help. So he, on his own volition, is contacting AHCCCS to get medical coverage, so that he can go to Magellan (formally Value Options), get diagnosed to get the help he needs with meds and therapy, and apply for disability. Yeah, it's all good. In many ways I'm sorry it had to come to this for him, but I'm glad he recognizes the fact he needs help. I was once to proud too, and I paid the price for it dearly.

It really think it came to this because God worked it out for him. Even if he doesn't realize that for himself. It's been helpful to me, too. If he hadn't lost his job, I wouldn't have been in the position to have to look for the financial help to keep from being homeless. God has been in this whole situation. Now it looks like I'm going to finally have my own apt. for the first time in 4 years, and have the help paying my rent each month. He works all things for our good.

He promised to make all things to work to the good for those who loved the Lord. Besides getting mental help, this might put you in a position to let God work through you to meet Don's spiritual needs. I know if He is involved, (and He is involved in everything), your witness to Don may be in His plans. Kind of sounds like Him doesn't it :)
