Big News
I was waiting to post about this until it was more finalized, and, as of yesterday right before work, I thought it was.... However, during work it got all scrambled up again.... So, I'm just going to post about it now anyway.
Matt got offered the position out in Statesboro, GA which is about 45min to an hour north west of here (Savannah ;) ). This is the job he had applied to about two months ago, had an interview with and then they basically disappeared off the face of the planet. Anyway, the plan was to move out by October 15 assuming we could find a place to stay. So, last weekend we drove up there and looked around - the first place we looked at we ended up choosing. It's one of the VERY FEW pet friendly places and actually looks quite cool. It's called The Woodlands and is located about 2 or 2.5 miles from where the office is (so he can walk or ride his bike) AND is directly across from one of the main entrances to Georgia Southern University (so, if I wanted to go back to school, it would be rather convienent). We applied there and everything was "set" - all we had left to do was go back up and sign the lease and make the deposit, which we were going to do this Friday or Saturday.
THEN, Matt got an email yesterday from ANOTHER place he applied to about 2 months ago - but here in Savannah! They wanted to know if he was still interested in the position (also another Art job... and actually probably more so than the Statesboro job). He basically told them "no, unless you can pay me more than this other place AND give me a decision by THIS Saturday". They want to see him today... for an interview supposedly....
I don't think I can take much more of this! My heart is FRAGILE!
