A strange, middle-aged man talked to me for a while at Food Not Bombs today.  It was really awkward, but listen to this I thought it was funny.   He said since I was the next generation, he needed to ask me two questions.

1. What does "fnord" mean?
2. Why do 'you kids' wear your underwear so high and your pants so low!?

i wear my underwear high, and my pants low because my underwear fits, and stays up, and i can never find pants that fit, and i lost my pink zebra print suspenders.

I loooooooooove contra dance! I do it at the commonground fair sometimes. it makes me really happy.

hahah, I think he was more referring to weird boys in ugly boxers with super baggy gangsta pants and girls with grosss thongs sticking out halfway up their backs.

I'd been wondering what the hell fnord actually meant after seeing it sprayed on every other wall I walked by for about a year, so I turned to my best friend, wikipedia, and he told me this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fnord. I guess I still don't really have a clue what the hell it means, and I bet the people who spray it don't, either.

Euughhhhh not a big fan of the whole wear-your-pants-so-that-half-your-underwear-sticks-out thing. I should do that for Halloween. Dress up like an urban street dude person. Thanks!

I hate the pants thing too.
There's this kid Erik who does most of the Fnord stuff, and he said it was from that trilogy thing. He didn't explain it very much to me, but it sounded like... it sort of made sense... which I really didn't expect at all.

It is from the Illuminati trilogy. However, that kid is a complete moron because of where he paints the thing. If he was trying to fight the man instead of use it for a tag, he likely would not tagged the solid oak front door of my grandfather's building. The kid is a fucking douche.
