I've made decent use of the little space I have in my campus apartment, though it's no where near as grand as my home in Guadosalam, or my seasonal dwelling in Bevelle. The quality of the furnishing materials in this world is greatly lacking in comparison, but with my assumed inhability to successfully make a return trip to Spira for more suitable ( Read more... )

Sometimes you do have to learn how to come with all the simple things around here. It's a dump compared to my home.

...Machina? The oven or the microwave?

Ah, sadly it was quite impossible for me to come as equipped as I would have liked. It's slightly comforting to know that there are others in a similiar...downgrade position.

The oven I'm slightly familiar with, but it still seems to successfully thwart my attempts at cooking. The microwave...I'm assuming it's that white box above the stove?

It's what happens when you're from a royal family. Where do you come from besides this "Guadosalam"?

Yes, that's the one. It takes a while to get used to. Honestly! I rather have someone cook for me!

A royal family? Quite impressive. You really must feel quite alienated among the more common rabble.

My birthplace was Guadosalam, but I suppose you could say that my home was Bevelle due to my status. Both cities are located in a world known as Spira.

Yes, I'm starting to miss my servants. Who would have thought. Perhaps if I do make a trip to Spira I could somehow convince Tromell to return with me.

That blows. Come from one of those Amish families?

Amish? I'm sorry to say that I'm quite unfamiliar with that word.

However, I believe it is due to the fact that in my homeworld, Spira, our use of machina is regulated by Yevon. Even so, our technology there, and that which resides here are far too different from one another.
