Recent Travels

In the past month I've been down south a couple times.  I'm actually in Hollywood, California as I write this.

and frankly LA is *nicer* than than many "big american cities"

Yeah, I'd plan to spend two days a the Getty if I hadn't been before... one day inside, one day outside...

The Getty Museum is free admission but sadly I'm here for a conference/work so no free time to spend on an afternoon, or days, at the Getty. I would , but I can't. :( All I get to see is Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave. Not too bad, but not that amazing either.

Grauman's Chinese Theatre is more beautiful than I have ever seen in photos. Too bad about all the tourists and impersonators. And the Kodak theatre is in a mall! I can't imagine that all those Oscar award shows take place in a freakin' mall! At least I can only imagine how many celebrities I've now shared various toilet seats with. :D

I'm also quite drunk right now so everything is fantastic!

Tomorrow, I'm gonna regret being online tonight. :P
