I'm trying to go through all of the LJ posts I've missed since leaving for BM but I just can't. I got back 200 posts adn it was still only sept 4th! I hope I didn't miss anything too important.

Dust, Oh God, not the Dust!!!
So it seems that Burning Man will be a dusty one this year, possibly like the great dust hell of 2001, or even worse. The DPW, those wonderful people who build up our city's infrastructure, has offered their observations about the conditions of the playa and it doesn't look so good - very much like 2001 is their prediction.
