Oh wow. All of your settlers have deep stories concerning their backgrounds... Some of them quite tragedian, and I like how you describe them. I wonder how it will all play out -- will they act like you describe or will they have surprising plot twists up their sleeves? :)
Your guess is as good as mine. ;D But you know Sims. They do what they want. I suspect my carefully (if not obnoxiously long) thought-out backgrounds for them will go out the window once I really start playing.
I agree with Nimi about your settlers' backgrounds, and this is just my take on Sims' personalities -
Sometimes mine surprise me, but sometimes they are really true to character. I think it just develops them further to have a background in mind, assign them a fitting personality, and see what happens. I may just be the only dork who uses Sims to help develop my characters, but it's fun. :)
Either way, your settlers are all really interesting and Nautilus Cove is such a cute name!
I really tried to have a plot line sort of set for how I wanted the settlers to appear to those reading the story and how I wanted the story to progress.
Whether or not the Sims will remain true to form is anyone's guess, but after playing a few households I can say things have already gotten interesting. :P
