i never meant to cause any harm or strain between rory and his friends. i came into rory's life and things just became great- for the both of us. we both decided that we needed to grow up as adults and maybe do things differently in our lives. i made many personal decisions and changed things about my life, as did rory. for rory it seemed like he wanted to accomplish certain things that he hadn't accomplished in his life yet. he is in the process of getting his ged, getting ready to get his liscense, and working his ass off so he can move in with me this spring. the one thing i always told rory was that i didn't want to change who he was, but instead better himself in certain areas of his life. i asked him why he let people walk all over him (no one in specific, whethere it be a family member, a co-worker, a friend, or even myself). the one thing that i had told him that he should do was work on sticking up for himself when need be and earning the respect he deserves. rory has become more assertive and been able to make choices that
