While our usage of household chemicals is fairly low, I'd like to phase it out altogether using a combination of natural products and elbow grease, hence the following list.
With the amount of books out on this very same topic, I was surprised that none of them seem to test them. I've seen ones replicated that might do more harm than good.
Vinegar in the wash also helps keep the colours/black from fading. Isn't the vinegar and newsprint more known as a technique for cleaning mirrors?
Of course, I don't have this problem but one of those drain screens in the tub is essential for catching hair... of course, you still have to regularly clean that screen thing.
Oooh, I never heard about the colour fading one, but it makes sense seeing as vinegar can be used for a mordant for dyeing.. thanks! And for the mirror thing.

Where do soda crystals sit on the green scale? I know they're chemically, but they're fairly basic. (No pun intended...)
