Too many Things in life

Has it been that long? For shame, mareep!

I've begun to settle more into my new place in Somerville, but I am beginning to realize I don't have a strong sense of 'home', and haven't since college. Since I left high school, I've lived in at least twelve places not counting dorms. That's about a new place every year. I've learned how to shed physical ( Read more... )

wow you've moved a lot! maybe you can give me some tips on how to do it? i need to move out but i've never really done it myself before and i keep putting it off. ;_;

but yeah, take it easy on yourself! you already do plenty of creative things, and good lord does Being an Adult take a lot of time... i don't know how anybody gets anything done, serious.

what sorta projects are you working on?

I am working on three music projects- a cover song I'm halfway done with (no deadline), an original song I've started with a deadline of 16 November, and a remix of three tracks that will be a short comedy thing. I need to set the playlist and corral all the songs together for a wedding at the end of September ( ... )

woah that's a lot of stuff! sounds like good fun though. I'm trying to pare down the things I want to do so that I'll actually get around to them at some point...

I've always used craigslists and looked under rooms/shares. The important things are finding someone you are compatible cleanliness with and have compatible hours with (useful for morning and evening noise, as well as shower-claiming). A dishwasher is a very nice luxury.

If you have multiple roommates, a cleaning schedule is very useful.
