Whidbey photos

Met up with Neal (yay) during the week, and look forward to board games with her in future! Also, we saw the Seattle Symphony last week with Olya and Jason! A soloist performed Beethoven’s Violin Concerto- it was a fresh and bright/sweet interpretation. Dvorak’s 6th Symphony followed, and Wallenstein’s Camp by Smetana preceded. The ( Read more... )

I hope you do not recommend DAMMSUGARE to those people who are marcus_sez_vote, as people like that would suffer a far worse fate than I would at the hands of the marzipan vacuum cleaner.

Also, all college IT departments are doomed to move off-campus, in favor of more luxurious departments. Sorry!

You're right re nut buffets!

Actually, we got more space for the department which is supposedly swanky but off-campus, so they're moving us to the supposedly swankier places. It's a more annoying commute for me, though, as well as to the gym.
