I do that pretty damned frequently myself. I lost my fiance to cancer last month.

I have heard. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you're going through but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason though we may not see them right away.

I know that I brought him a great deal of happiness, love and was able to give him something he'd never had- a family of his own- even for a short time. He always had doubts about what type of parent he would be- and he found that he was a natural at parenting- and my girls LOVED him as much as I did.
We're all struggling emotionally.
